Sales Associate
Overview
cMarket, the leading provider of online auction services to the charitable fundraising industry, seeks an intelligent, experienced, motivated and energetic individual to join and contribute to our Sales team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for making outbound telephone calls to potential customers.
Located in Cambridge, Alewife area, on the red line and near bus routes, we are a venture-backed start-up now in its 4th year that is changing the way nonprofits use technology to raise money. Position Responsibilities
| > | Conduct 85-100 calls per day |
| > | Enter prospect/customer data into CRM system |
| > | Prepare collateral mailings as needed |
| > | Screen inbound calls and route to appropriate sales reps. |
Requirements
| > | 1+ years experience in a sales or service environment |
| > | Excellent phone skills |
| > | Basic computer proficiency |
| > | Ability to work long hours and handle multiple projects at once |
| > | High energy level |
| > | Ability to resolve problems in a timely manner |
| > | Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced start-up/high growth environment |
| > | Outstanding written and verbal communications skills in English |
| > | Strong initiative and a desire to be an overachiever |
| > | College degree |
