You certainly know your donors as well as anyone. But you should make a special effort to consider items or services (either from cMarket Place or from your own sources) that will specifically appeal to those you are inviting to your auction. For instance, items should be financially appropriate (a Little League team might not auction something with a minimum bid of $3000). They can also be thematically complementary. A good example is connecting celebrities with causes, such as including Lance Armstrong memorabilia with fundraising efforts for cancer. In a playful vein, you might auction pedicures at a walk-a-thon.
