Curious about the Earth’s weather and climate and want to learn more? Understand these natural wonders with a winter season Private VIP Tour for two of the Mount Washington Observatory’s mountaintop weather station.
You and your guest will travel from the base of the mountain to the summit via the Observatory Snowtracker – a really fun way to get up the mountain! Upon arrival to the summit, you will be greeted by Observatory staff and will be given a tour of the Observatory, lunch and guided tour of the summit (weather permitting).
During the winter season, mid-October through April, the Observatory crew (approx 7-8 staff) and a couple of NH State Park staff are the only people occupying the summit due to the extreme, winter conditions. So, this will truly be a VIP tour!
