Artist Aara Edwards, an accomplished musician and artist, has created this unique artwork that spans two art forms, as she does herself. Perfectly playable, this piece also functions as art. Organic color and form bring new life to an old instrument.
Special Instructions
Born in tiny Lomond, Alberta, Aara grew up in a small town in southern Ontario. After six years at Harvard College, she took up residence as a freelance violist/bassist and painter in Ithaca, New York. Traveling the world, working as a canoe guide in northern Minnesota, and architecture school have been distractions. She is also active with a string quartet!
