The Meadow Natural Burial Ground is certified by The Green Burial Council and allows families the option to lay loved ones to rest in a serene and natural environment. Green Burial takes place without toxic embalming, allowing everything placed in the ground in The Meadow to return naturally to the earth.
As part of the restoration efforts of The Meadow, each family can have a native tree, shrub, flower, and groundcover planted in the memory of their loved one. Maintenance is minimal and does not involve irrigation, fertilizers, regular mowing or pruning.
