Item Description
Come take a winding 3-hour canoe adventure through the woods, reeds, and wilderness on the beautiful waters of the Ipswich River with Mike Smith, Phoenix summer teacher. The trip will be for 2 people, 5 years of age or older, that are comfortable on and around the water. Mike will be your guide and will teach you anything you need to know about canoeing. Besides enjoying the calm waters of the river, we'll also get to see all kinds of water birds, turtles, fish, beaver dams, and possibly even snakes. We'll also get to cool off along the way by swimming in the river. All canoe equipment including a lifejacket will be provided by Foote Brothers Canoe Rentals of Ipswich.
Special Instructions
This item will be part of the auction at The Phoenix School's Gala Event on Saturday, November 14, 2009. Bidding at the Gala Event will begin where online concludes. Online bidders may place a Maximum Absentee Bid to be used at the Gala Event.
