Have breakfast, for 15 minutes, in bed with Rick Kushman provided by Ettore's. Rick has been writing The Good Life column about food, wine and life in Sacramento for The Sacramento Bee a bit more than a year, and was the TV columnist from 1994 until this June. He also has a book out, “A Moveable Thirst: Tales and Tastes from a Season in Napa Wine Country,” and does a weekly morning spot on KFBK.
Special Instructions
He teaches wine classes, does some light-hearted speeches about wine around town and in wine country, and just took his Certified Wine Professional test from the Culinary Institute of America. (We’ll see how that went in a few weeks.) He's involved with a handful of charities, most notably he's on the board of the Run to Feed the Hungry. He's a competitive – if rapidly aging – track and cross country runner, an enthusiastic-if-marginally-skilled cook, and he's a dog guy.
