Tony Romo’s work ethic and humility have kept him grounded throughout his rise to stardom in one of sport’s most distinguished positions. The quarterback of “America’s Team”: the Dallas Cowboys. Despite showing great athletic talent and having had a stellar collegiate career, Tony came into the NFL undrafted as a backup quarterback. Tony positioned himself to be the leader of the team if the opportunity arose. He was given a chance in 2006, as he replaced a veteran quarterback midway through the season resulting in a playoff appearance for the Cowboys after a three year drought. In only his second season as a starter, Tony was recently selected to his second consecutive Pro Bowl and led his team to the best record in the NFC during the 2007 NFL Season. He has appeared regularly in People, US Magazine, in Touch, Star, Entertainment Weekly, Sports Illustrated, ESPN the Magazine and The Sporting News. In the face of increasing media exposure Tony has remained poised and composed. His close knit family provide him with a strong foundation to handle challenges both on and off the field.
