Jerod Mayo (born February 23, 1986 in Hampton, Virginia) is a linebacker for the New England Patriots of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Patriots tenth overall in the 2008 NFL Draft. He was named the 2008 AP NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. He played college football at Tennessee.
