Michael Solomonov was recently named a Rising Star Chef finalist (top 5 Chefs in the entire USA 30 or younger) by the James Beard Foundation. This is the Oscars for Chefs! Zahav was named by Philadelphia Magazine as the top new restaurant in 2008 and Esquire Magazine named Zahav one of the top 20 new restaurants in the USA in 2008. You have the option of having Michael Solomonov come to your home or you can host your dinner party at the home of Claudia and Kevin Miller (just show up hungry with your party). In either venue Claudia & Kevin will serve you and provide the wine (a combination of Israeli wines and depending on the auction price perhaps a few vintage bottles from Kevin's small but cherished collection - but you'd better bid high). This should be a once-in-a-lifetime culinary experience.
Note: any night of the week with reasonable notice (except Saturday) will work.
