Mainteance Note
Spray with with a clear coat acrylic spray like Krylon or Rustoleum and keep it inside.
You can use a Scotch Brite pad (or something similar) to rub off the rust. It is really impossible to keep these pieces from rusting if they are put outdoors or exposed to any humidity. If you spray a new one with a clear coat acrylic spray like Krylon or Rustoleum and keep it inside, it shouldn't rust too much.
