This unique auction package includes:

  • Admission for (1) person to participate with Major League Baseball umpires and the Phillie Phanatic as they host an event at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia from 10AM-NOON on May 26th. 
  • (2) game tickets for the Tuesday, May 26th game at Citizens Bank Park (Marlins vs. Phillies @ 7:05PM) 
  • (1) 8x10 photo of you with the Phillie Phanatic at the hospital event.
  • (1) UMPS CARE Charities event shirt. 

On Tuesday, May 26th from 10AM-NOON, join with Major League Umpires John Hirschbeck, Wally Bell, Marty Foster, and Marvin Hudson to lift the spirits of children at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Together, along with the Phillie Phanatic (Phillies mascot), you will provide a Build-A-Bear Workshop experience for children coping with cancer and other serious illness/injury.

After helping to put smiles on the faces of children, watch the World Champion Philadelphia Phillies take on the Florida Marlins courtesy of the men in blue.

MLB Umpires wish to thank the Phillies for having the Phillie Phanatic join the hospital event and for supporting the UMPS CARE Charities ticket program during the baseball season.

UMPS CARE Charities, the non-profit organization formed and supported by all 68 Major League Baseball umpires, hosts a monthly online auction. Auction proceeds help MLB Umpires host Build-A-Bear Workshop experiences for children with serious illness and baseball game experiences for children in foster care awaiting adoption.   • Winning bidder may designate (1) one adult to attend the hospital event. Must be 21+ years old and in good health to attend. 
  • Game Info: Marlins vs. Phillies at Citizens Bank Park (7:05PM) on May 26th. Tickets will be available at will call 45 minutes prior to the game. Game ticket location is determined by the Phillies. We cannot specify precise seating location but in general, seats are typically lower level between 1st and 3rd base.
