5 lb. coffee from Cafe Mam
Item Information
Item Number 140
Item Description
Café Mam (sounds like `mom`) is grown by fair-trade cooperatives of native Mayan farmers living in the highlands of Chiapas, Mexico. The growers, primarily of the Mam, Tzetzal, and Mochó peoples, are organized according to egalitarian democratic ideals that stress responsibility to the co-op, hard work, and high standards. Their sustainable approach to agriculture benefits their communities in many positive ways. They believe that by taking care of the soil, they are taking care of the entire bio-system. You're bidding on a 5-lb. bag of coffee, including shipping anywhere in the US.
