The perfect picture of elegance, fearless strength and beauty, the osprey comes to life under the fingers of this skilled, award winning artist, whose decoys and wood carvings are well-known and respected throughout the region.
An exhibiting sculptor at the prestigious Waterfowl Festival in Easton, MD, with a decade of blue ribbons at the Ward World Championship Wildfowl Competition and the Havre De Grace Decoy Festival, Mr. Lopez has been the subject of articles written in local magazines and national carving magazines, and has been interviewed by local radio and TV stations. His wildfowl sculpture is in the homes of collectors throughout the United States, Canada, England, and Japan. Now he generously shares his talents with the Annapolis Maritime Museum.
