Item Description
North Dakota's interpretation of the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network's Fight Back Express, created by Paul Noot.
Paul Noot has a BFA from the University of North Dakota and an MFA from Brooklyn College, New York. He currently teaches Visual Arts at Bismarck High School, Theo Art School, and Sleepy Hollow Summer Arts Program in Bismarck, North Dakota.
His work can be found in several regional art collections as well as Latitudes Gallery & Gift, Bismarck. His most recent commission work can be found at Pirogue Grille, Bismarck. He also painted a pony for Easter Seals of North Dakota.
Special Instructions
The inspiration for the project came from locations in which the Fight Back Express stopped at while touring North Dakota. Imagery came from New Salem's Salem Sue, farmland, and the Badlands of western North Dakota.
