ARTIST'S STATEMENT
My piece offers hope that modern life can harmoniously include both nature and technology. The submarine and its gears are symbols of technology. The crew, a grizzly bear, sea turtle and lynx, all endangered animals, symbolize how technology might be able to assist in the rescure of other endangered animals.
