Since its debut in 1993, Late Night has attracted fans with its innovative comedy, including the sketches "In the Year 2000," "If They Mated," and "Clutch Cargo" (in which photos of various politicians and celebrities appear with someone else's lips and voice doing the talking).

Referred to as "the most cunning talk show around" by Entertainment Weekly, Late Night with Conan O'Brien began its 14th season on August 29, 2006. In 2006, Late Night was honored with five Emmy nominations.

Late Night offers viewers an eclectic and entertaining mix of provocative guests. Like other talk shows, Late Night books A-list guests who chat up their latest blockbuster movie, hit television show, or other projects, but the difference rests with O'Brien's improvisational style.
