As the winning bidder, you will receive three nights lodging for two at the Motel Trees in Klamath, California, on 120 acres in the Redwood National and State Parks. As part of your vacation package, tour the Trees of Mystery and discover many of the world's oldest and tallest coastal Redwoods, growing in mind-bending forms. Shaped over 2,000 years, some redwoods in this attraction stand nearly 300 feet tall.
Seated near the Klamath River 40 miles south of the Oregon state border, the Trees of Mystery is California's premier redwood attraction. View the awe-inspiring wonder of the Kingdom of Trees. Immerse yourself in the rugged beauty of the Wilderness Trail--one mile of advanced hiking through pristine back-country. Get a bird's-eye view of the giant redwoods on Sky Trail, a gondola ride through the forest canopy. At the Sky Trail summit observation deck, be prepared for breathtaking mountain, forest and ocean vistas.
Also included in this package are breakfast and dinner for two at the Forest Café, admission for two to the Trees of Mystery (includes Sky Trail, Forest Experience Trail, Wilderness Trail, Trail of Tall Tales and the Kingdom of Trees, and the End of Trail Museum), admission for one vehicle at the Tour Thru Tree and admission for two to Ocean World in Crescent City, CA. Package comes with informational DVD. The Trees of Mystery trail is wheelchair accessible and there is an electric trail cart available for rent. The trail is open and maintained year-round, except on December 25. Leashed pets are welcome!
