LADDER Scholarship The low-income working families we serve struggle every day to make ends meet. Most of our youth live in homes that are headed by single parents working two or three jobs to survive. Because child care subsidies have been cut and parent co-pays have risen dramatically, some parents can no longer afford our high-quality early childhood, before and after school and summer enrichment programs.
