Wesley United Methodist Church's 2nd Annual On-Line Silent Auction The on-line auction will continue through October 25,2008 followed by a live auction October 26 from noon to 2 pm. A number of fun and unique items are available to bid on to raise money for two special church funds - Sound System updating and Traumatized Children. Bidding - To register to bid you will need to enter credit card information (instructions to register are found with each auction item). However, credit card payment will not be used for this auction. Check or cash payment will be accepted at the Live Auction October 26 or by mail postmarked no later than November 1, 2008. *REFRESH - If your computer is like mine you'll have to click on the REFRESH button to verify that your bid has been accepted.

Keystone Class Wins with Music Basket!
The congregation voted on three basket entries Sunday - Spirit Seekers Pasta Basket, Come Join Us Kitchen Gadgets and the winning Gift of Music Basket from the Keystone Class. Kelly Vicente-Mayoral will serve breakfast to the Keystone Class next Sunday - the prize for winning the Basket Contest.

Various groups within the church are preparing fun-filled baskets for you to bid on.
A "Pasta Basket" from the Spirit Seekers will include fancy pastas, decorative table settings and tickets for two to an ISO Classical Concert.
Baskets and Breakfast The winning group will receive bragging rights and a homemade-from-scratch breakfast for everyone in the group on October 19!
Baskets must be completed and turned in by October 12 and will be displayed for the congregation to vote on.

A generous donor has pledged to match profits up to $10,000 toward a new sanctuary sound system from July – October 26, 2008 (the date of the Silent Auction to raise funds for the new sound system). $7,000 has already been raised = $14,000 with Matching Funds!!
