Help our children maximize their abilities!The online portion of SCSDB Parent Auction is now open. The auction will run from October 1, 2006 to October 27, 2006, with the live event taking place on October 28, 2006 as a part of the 2006 South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind (SCSDB) Homecoming Celebration on the Spartanburg campus. The SCSDB Parent Auction, sponsored by the School Improvement Council (SIC)and the Walker Foundation, supports SCSDB in its mission to educate children with sensory disabilities through high quality programs. Our goal is to maximize the abilities of the special children we serve so that they can lead independent and productive lives. Auction items range from wonderful weekend getaways to unique sports items to donated items guaranteed to delight and surprise. Proceeds from the Parent Auction will go to the Walker Foundation to support the Schools for the Deaf, Blind, and Mutihandicapped, and the adult and Outreach Programs at SCSDB.
