Since 1968 the Neighborhood Design Center has been helping communities throughout the region build new playgrounds, reclaim vacant lots and abandoned buildings, revitalize commercial districts, create community master plans, and beautify neighborhoods and schools. We are the only non-profit in the Baltimore-Washington area providing these services on a pro-bono basis.
The online portion of NDC Auction is now open. The auction will run from October 23, 2009 to November 11, 2009, with the live event - POWER OF PLACE - taking place on November 11, 2009. Proceeds go to Neighborhood Design Center in order to support our pro-bono design and planning services. Auction items range from vacation getaways to donated items guaranteed to delight and surprise. So, tell your friends, family, community. Let the bidding begin!
