Our underwriters and silent auction donors are amazingly generous in their support of The Legal Project.  Please try and frequent the businesses who are participating in this event and tell them you appreciate all that they do for our program and clients.  The partnerships that we have with our corporate, law firm and business partners are invaluable and we appreciate them all so much.  Thanks to all who bid, buy raffle tickets and attend our reception, too!

The Legal Project 13th Annual Pro Bono Reception is coming soon! The online auction will run from October 14th, 2008 to 10 pm on October 21, 2008, with the live event taking place on October 23, 2008. Lydia Kulbida, news anchor on WNYT, Channel 13, will again be the Mistress of Ceremonies for the evening.  The Legal Project 13th Annual Pro Bono Reception will help CDWBA Legal Project, Inc. support its work in providing free and low cost civil legal assistance to the working poor in the Capital District, with a special focus on assisting victims of domestic violence.  Auction items range from a great trip to New Orleans (a wonderful way to help the Big Easy and The Legal Project!) to donated items such as original artwork, gift certificates for restaurants and services, jewelry, gift baskets and more unique items in every price range. You could even go behind the scenes at Channel 13 and then have a private dinner with Lydia Kulbida! Proceeds from your auction event will go to CDWBA Legal Project, Inc. in order to support our pro bono work.  So, tell your friends, family, community. We very much appreciate the support! It makes a real difference to so many in our community.
