Les Dames d'Escoffier's CORNUCOPIA 2009 Has Ended; Thank You For Your Participation!

CORNUCOPIA 2009, from October 1 through October 31, 2009, is this year’s prime fund raiser for Les Dames d’Escoffier International (LDEI), an organization of women leaders in food, beverage and hospitality dedicated to improving what we eat and promoting the pleasures of the table and the joys of hospitality.  The money raised from this exciting online auction helps support LDEI’s philanthropic, scholarship and community outreach efforts, including its Green Tables program.  Green Tables is a farm-and-garden-to-table program to educate the public about where our food comes from and about the importance of locally supported agriculture.  

Visitors to Cornucopia 2009 will find fabulous items ranging from cooking classes to culinary tours, vacation packages to invitation-only events. Look for vacation packages including an exclusive 10-day stay in an Australian Vineyard; a night at the fabulous Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek; a weekend getaway to the fabulous Dallas Omni Mandalay, complete with museum passes, dinners, cooking classes and other surprises.  Chocoholics will overdose on brownies and more, and one lucky winner will get three seasons of delectable cheeses.  The many wonderful offerings include fantasy gifts as well as more modestly priced items, such as autographed cookbooks, chef dinners, special wines and gourmet foods.
