It is the final day of the Super Hunger Auction 2009. The auction will close at 9pm, with proceeds going to The Greater Boston Food Bank in order to support the fight to end hunger in Eastern Massachusetts.
The Greater Boston Food Bank is the largest hunger-relief organization in New England feeding 83,000 people each week.
We distribute approximately 30 million pounds of food and grocery products annually to a network of more than 600 member hunger-relief agencies.
For every $1 donated to our online auction, we can distribute $4 worth of food to those in need in our community.
