Now is your chance to get all the items you want while helping the Muscular Dystrophy Association. MDA is a voluntary health agency working to defeat neuromuscular diseases through programs of worldwide research, comprehensive services, and far-reaching professional and public health education. The Association funds some 400 research projects in the U.S. and abroad yearly. It also supports some 230 hospital-affiliated clinics at which people with any of the diseases covered by the Association receive medical care and support services. The MDA clinic serving the Southern Piedmont Region is located at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.

The online portion of Charlotte Muscle Team 2007 is now open. The auction will run from April 26, 2007 to May 10, 2007, with the live event taking place on May 15, 2007. All proceeds raised will go to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Auction items range from vacation getaways to sports memorabilia and other donated items guaranteed to delight and surprise. Muscle Team 2007 is a very high profile event and specialty auction where top professional athletes from Charlotte are paired with an MDA Buddy, a local child who is affected by a neuromuscular disease. The evening is highlighted by fine food and beverage stations, interactive entertainment, and a live and silent auction featuring unique sports memorabilia and other exclusive items. It will be held at Bank of America Stadium on Tuesday, May 15^th from 6:00 - 10:00 pm. Many of the items featured on this site will be available at the event.
