CatNap from the Heart Inc. Feline Fiesta Auction!

2009 has been a rough year for everyone, including CatNap, with the state of the current economy.  Boarding was down, donations were down and cats coming in was up!  It's been a struggle but through many generous donors we pulled through the worse part of the year.

Now we look forward to an uptick in the economy just like everyone else.  We've received some great cats this year, all with different stories but one thing remains the same.  They just want to find a new home to spend their golden years in.  We've had to take in many senior cats this year, as well as those cute adorable kittens.  The good news - it looks like our spay and neuter policy is helping to cut the numbers down a bit in our area.  Not great but better!

We're hoping you will open your hearts to help us, either by making a donation, coming to our event, or adopting from us.  No donation is too small. 

This year we're asking for sponsors for two wonderful cats, Butch and Sasha, who are diabetic and require daily insulin shots.  Also Sonny and Raz, big boys looking for a home big enough to accommodate their needs.  You can see Raz laying on the desk most days supervising.  Unfortunately you can't find the desk once he's there!  Of course, there's Hope, that wonderful girl who came in a couple of years ago and had her three babies in the office.  We hope to use Hope and her son, Gabe, as therapy cats.   All of these guys just like visitors but a donation toward their food and medical care is always helpful.  You'll find a spot to sponsor them in the auction list, along with a picture and what you will get as a sponsor to these special cats.

So, the AUCTION STARTS October 1, 2009. CatNap from the Heart Inc. will be auctioning off a number of fun and unique items to bid on to raise money for our organization - and the more items we have the more money we can raise, so we're asking for your help.
