Our 10th Annual Fiesta de Baile and Silent Auction is scheduled for Saturday March 21, 2010 at the Nahant Country Club with its large, inviting dance floor. Beginning at 9:00 pm with a complimentary salsa lesson from our favorite dance professionals, the evening is a lively tribute to the Latin art form.
DJ Antonio Ortiz will once again provide us with the authentic sound until 1:00 am. Included with admission are delicious hors d'oeuvres, and a cash bar is available throughout the evening.

The North Shore Civic Ballet is a thriving non-profit company that combines seasoned professional artists with aspiring young dancers. Artistic Director Paula K. Shiff and Associate Director Florence C. Whipple founded the company, and their collaboration proved to be exciting and fruitful for more than two decades, with steady growth in all directions.
The philosophy underpinning the company states that the Dance is much more than happy entertainment. It enriches all of life, teaching, grace, self-control, musicality, and other qualities that carry over into all professions and into life itself. We learn to dance and we learn from dance. We celebrate the elegance, power, and range from the human form, the beauty of storytelling, the mastery of the musician, the visual artist, and the sculptor. Our versatile repertoire brings us in contact with a variety or guest artists, choreographers, musician, photographers, costume and lighting designers, and others associated with the exciting world of the theater. We are committed to this world with its deep roots in history and in art, and we welcome every opportunity to broaden our horizons.
The company, based at the Marblehead School of Ballet gives concert performances and a variety of educational programs for schools; all are suitable for different age groups and levels of development.
The Marblehead School of Ballet offers a full graded curriculum of dance for the recreational dancer as well as the pre-professional and professional dancer. The program includes creative movement, ballet, modern and others disciplines such as pilates method matwork, stretch and strength and related academics. The MSB is open year round and has an open enrollment policy.
