On Friday, API extended the 2007 auction 4 extra days, allowing donors and bidders more time to shop for API's Staying Power! Bid today and return often as new items are added every day. The "Project: Staying Power" On-Line Auction will help Attachment Parenting International (API) "Protect the Parent-Child Connection". Auction items range from exotic vacation getaways to donated items guaranteed to delight and surprise. Proceeds from the auction event will go to Attachment Parenting International (API) in order to accomplish the three goals outlined below.

API Web Site Renovation - Our strategic plan calls for a complete renovation of our Web site to make it the premier source to find information on parenting practices grounded in attachment theory for both parents and professionals.
Develop the “Eight Principles of AP” Parent Education Curriculum - The plan also calls for the development of a comprehensive parent education curriculum based on the newly improved Eight Principles of Attachment Parenting. This will allow leaders and professionals to certify as API’s Parent Educators in their communities; creating an income stream for themselves and further spreading the knowledge of parenting practices grounded in attachment theory.
