AIDS.ORG gives access to important AIDS/HIV information to the 4 million users that visit us yearly. Awarded for its factual content, we strive to give information as accurate and current as possible. Our goal has always been to be the undisputed leader of AIDS/HIV information on the Internet.This art jewelry is designed and handmade by Erick Calitri. The artist has taken common hardware (nail, washer, tacks, etc.) and created a line of unique jewelry not available anywhere except at our fundraising auctions.
All proceeds go to support AIDS.ORG and are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

The Hardware Helps Story
In 1990 Erick Calitri began exploring how to use common hardware to create a line of jewelry. His intention was to use the jewelry to raise awareness and funding to help fight AIDS. The artist explains, "When I'd wear one of my hardware pieces, people would compliment it and so it became a conversation starter. I'd invite them to check out the jewelry on the internet and how it was auctioned to raise funds and awareness about the HIV/AIDS crisis." Erick hopes that others wearing his pieces will also direct people to AIDS.ORG to see the jewelry and learn more about HIV/AIDS.
