About us
The Academy for New Musical Theatre is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization. We're devoted to creating opportunities for writers, lyricists, composers, actors, singers, directors, music directors, and everyone with a love for new musical theatre.
We have workshops in Los Angeles, but we also have an international program of LIVE STREAMCASTS and developmental workshops, creating musicals for producers all across the globe.

December 2 through December 13, 2009, ANMT will be auctioning off some fun and unique items that you can bid on to help us raise money.
We have artwork, toys, books, DVD's, CD's, restaurant certificates, sessions with photographers and recording studios, Pilates instructors, comic books, passes to Universal Studios, San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park, and tickets to musicals and plays all across Los Angeles...and all kinds of wonderful gifts.

Then, come back when the bidding starts at 10:00 AM/PST on December 2nd and join in the fun! Your bid will help support the Academy do what we do best, which is to develop new musicals and new writers.
Bidding begins as low as 20% of the value of the item. A $100 gift certificate can be yours for $20!

Last year's online auction was wild and wooly. (Who can forget the frenzy over Holiday Barbie...and the X-Box!) We have some more surprises in store for this year's auction which promises to be bigger and better than ever.
We'll open up a Sneak Preview of some of items for bid on November 27th -- the Busiest Shopping Day of the Year. Stay home and shop!

If you have an item or service you'd like to donate, just click the DONATE ITEMS button in the upper left-hand corner.
A wide variety of merchandise, including gift certificates, will be offered on the website, which has a target audience comprised of more than 8,000 supporters, as well as a special online database of over 35,000 people through an organization called "Bidding for Good." We'll also be supplementing our outreach through demographically-targeted Facebook ads designed to reach 260,000 people with your item and your website listed in our auction. We hope you will take advantage of this unique marketing opportunity and consider supporting our online auction.
