The Palomita Education Fund online auction is now open. The auction will run from July 10th through July 31st, with proceeds benefitting The Palomita Education Fund in order to support the empowerment of Latinos through educational advancement, preparing them for future personal and professional success.
The Palomita Education Fund was founded in 2007 by Molly Robbins, a successful entrepreneur and Mexico City native. It is a non-profit organization that encourages and supports professional and leadership development in the Latino community. The objectives of the organization are to
- provide scholarships to Latinos planning to or currently enrolled in college;
- encourage participation of the Latino community in higher education and professional growth
- promote a productive and high-quality life.
In 2008, PalomitaTM established an annual charity fashion event, "Piensa Mas Alla or Think Beyond," from which all proceeds went towards the PalomitaTM Education Fund
Auction items are a range of both men and women's t-shirt designed and autographed by Latino celebrities from a wide range of backgrounds. Ready, set, BID!
