George Clooney's Academy Awards Gift Bag
Contribute to United Way's Hurricane Response and Recovery Fund
From the beginning, United Way has been part of the immediate response to these crises. And now, United Way has taken on a central role in the all-important long-term recovery, helping rebuild lives and the communities. United Way is now accepting financial donations to aid those affected by the devastation brought about during the 2005 hurricane season. Donate at www.unitedway.orgAcademy Award winner George Clooney, a long-time supporter of United Way and a member of the United Way Board of Trustees, has donated his Academy Awards® gift bag and transferable contents to be auctioned off to benefit the United Way Hurricane Response and Recovery Fund.
The bag and its transferable contents will be auctioned as one item. Bidding will begin at 12:01 am ET Wednesday, March 22, and end Tuesday, March 28, at 11:59 pm ET.
Mr. Clooney donated the entire contents of his gift bag; however, not all gift certificates included in the bag were transferable. View the full listing of items included in the auction.
