The Classical Cymbals auction will run from March 22, 2006 to May 13, 2006, with the live event taking place on May 20, 2006, following the IPO's final concert at Governors State University, University Park, IL. Proceeds go to Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra in order to support the continued growth of its musical performances and educational programs throughout Chicago Southland. Each Classical Cymbal has been transformed into a highly collectible, one-of-a-kind piece of artwork donated by local and Chicago artists.
