The online portion of Mujeres Latinas en Acción Silent Auction is now closed.  The live silent auction event will take place at our Voces Unidas Annual Benefit Dinner -  on March 12, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Downtown Chicago at 5:30 p.m. Proceeds go to Mujeres Latinas en Acción, a not-for-profit organization, to empower women, youth and their families. 

The Mujeres Latinas en Acción ONLINE Silent Auction was a great success.  Thank you all for taking the time to support Mujeres Latinas en Acción!

Online Auction

For those who placed the highest bid as of the ending time for the online portion of the Silent Auction, your bids and screen names will be placed on the bid sheets as the highest bid. Other bids will be placed to outbid your bid throughout the auction, so if you are present at the live auction on March 12, 2009, please keep an eye out for higher bids if you wish to win the item. If you bid online and have requested absentee bidding our auction volunteers will play that role. We will bid as high, but in the increments determined by the Auction Co-Chairs, up to your highest committed absentee bid. Absentee bids are for those online bidders who authorized Mujeres Latinas en Acción to place succeeding bids in minimum bid increments up to a specified amount.  

General Rules

All sales are final. Vacation home rentals, hotel air transportation and restaurant reservations are subject to availability and may have some restrictions. Mujeres Latinas en Acción reserves the right to withdraw any item at any time prior to the actual sale and reject a bid from any bidder. The Auction Chairs will act as final authority on any bidding disputes. By making a purchase, the buyer waives any claims for liability against Mujeres Latinas en Acción or the donor of property or services. Neither Mujeres nor the donors are responsible for any personal injuries or damage, which may result from the use of property sold or services sold.
