Our Next Auction will be in support of the Arts...
At John Paul II Catholic High School, we have a wonderful arts program. In the past we have had students who have competed in district and state competitions in music, we have put on musicals, plays, and entertaining improvisations. Our students have won art competitions and have produced excellent paintings, photos, and drawings. As Pope John Paul II said in his Letter to Artists:
"In order to communicate the message entrusted to her by Christ, the Church needs art. Art must make perceptible, and as far as possible attractive, the world of the spirit, of the invisible, of God. It must therefore translate into meaningful terms that which is in itself ineffable. " --John Paul II
