On May 18, 2009, American Ballet Theatre Principal Dancer Nina Ananiashvili performed the World Premiere of Alexei Ratmansky’s Waltz Masquerade at ABT’s 2009 Spring Gala. This new work, Ratmansky’s first for ABT, was created especially for Nina in honor of her farewell season with the Company.
Nina’s own pointe shoes from this landmark performance, autographed by Nina herself, are now available exclusively through this online auction.
The auction will close at 8:00pm on Saturday, June 27, when Nina begins her final performance with American Ballet Theatre.
All proceeds benefit American Ballet Theatre and the Dancers’ Emergency Fund.
