2005 AAO Foundation Gala Auction
Saturday, May 21st
The AAO Foundation
The AAO Foundation, is the charitable arm of the American Association of Orthodontists, provides support to orthodontic education programs and orthodontic research.Tickets are offered at $195 each, with tables of ten (10) offered at $1950. As the per person cost for the evening is more than the price of admission, there is no charitable deduction possible.
Cost of the event is to be underwritten by a maximum of five (5) Gala Event Marquee Corporate Sponsors, five of which have been secured to date, i.e., 3M Unitek, American Orthodontics, GAC International, Inc., Ormco/"A" Company, and TP Orthodontics, Inc. The AAO Foundation Board of Directors and the 2005 Gala Committee salutes these companies for their support of this special event. (For a list of all those companies supporting the AAOF Endowment Campaign, please click here).
At this incredible evening of dining and entertainment, an intriguing visitor is expected. A reclusive fellow - one who shuns the limelight: The Phantom of the Opera! But, for the love of the AAOF and its vital work to preserve the orthodontic specialty, he will emerge to reveal the identity of the Mystery Host of this gala.
Vie for the opportunity to have a brief, yet memorable, audience with The Phantom by becoming a Mystery Host contestant.
For each $25,000 raised, you earn one chance for the drawing which will determine the Mystery Host (see contest rules immediately below for details). The Mystery Host will receive a table for ten at the gala. Your identity, like that of The Phantom, will be cloaked in secrecy until the moment The Phantom appears to unmask the Mystery Host.
Come together with friends and colleagues for this highly anticipated event when, at last, the Mystery Host will be unmasked. Will it be you?
